Riordan enjoyed a prolific spell at Hibernian before moving to Celtic
Hibernian striker Derek Riordan aims to play against Dundee United on Saturday to begin his second spell at the club.
The 25-year-old re-signed from Celtic in the summer but has been struggling with a groin strain.
Hibs manager Mixu Paatelainen told the club website that Riordan should be fit in time for the match at Easter Road.
"He does have a slight groin niggle at the moment," said Paatelainen. "He had that when he came here but the doctors said it's a niggle that will go away."
