Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher aims to build on his good start to the season and improve his goal tally.
Fletcher shows off his Young Player of the Month prize
Fletcher has knocked in four goals already and is celebrating his Clydesdale Bank Young Player of the Month award for August.
"There have been some great strikers at this club and stepping into the No.9 shirt is a big thing," the 20-year-old told the Edinburgh Evening News.
"It's been a terrific start for me and, hopefully, it's going to continue."
Fletcher will be in action for the Scotland Under-21s as they open their European Championship qualifying campaign in Finland at the weekend.
And the young striker did not get much of a summer holiday, having played in all three of Scotland's games at the Under-20 World Cup.
But Fletcher is brimming with confidence and enthusiasm as Hibs have enjoyed an unbeaten opening to the campaign.
"Each season I have been in the side I've simply looked to beat the total from the previous year," he added.
"Last season I scored 12, two more than the year before which, in turn, was up on my first season in the team.
"This season is no different, I just want to beat last year's tally."
