Hibernian manager John Collins praised the teenage players who made up almost half of the team which beat Kilmarnock 2-0.
The Hibees started the game with five 19-year-olds: keeper Andrew McNeil, Kevin McCann, Lewis Stevenson, Ross Campbell and Steven Fletcher.
Collins said: "I was delighted with the three points because I had a very young team out.
"But when I look to pick a team I never look at ages".
Collins continued: "I look at attitude, ambition and ability and the five teenagers that were in the team had those three things.
"Nobody really told me about these players but as soon as I saw McCann and Stevenson in the first reserve game, they were promoted up to the first team.
"From day one you could tell that they were both good football players, fantastic attitudes and a joy to work with and they have bright futures ahead of them."
