John Collins heaped praise on teenage goalkeeper Andrew McNeil after Hibernian's 2-0 win over Dunfermline and insists he is now first choice.
John Collins was unhappy with Hibs' first-half display
The Hibs boss dropped error-prone Polish goalkeeper Zibi Malkowski and handed the 19-year-old his debut.
"Andy did very well," said Collins. "He didn't have a lot to do, but what he had to do, he did very, very well.
"For the time being, he's got the jersey. Nobody's jersey is guaranteed, but he's got it."
But Collins was far from happy about his side's laboured victory.
"First half was a very poor performance from our point of view, slack passing, not enough movement and too many players didn't look like they were up for it," he said.
"Thankfully, we made a few changes at half-time and, in the second half, we were much better."
