Hibs manager Tony Mowbray believes the display of Chris Killen during the 3-1 win at Easter Road proves the proposed loss of Garry O'Connor can be off-set.
Mowbray said: "There's been a lot of talk about potentially losing Garry but we score goals from different areas.
"Chris got his third in four games and that's why we brought him in. If we can keep him fit, then I'm confident he will score more than 20 goals a season.
"He has experience and know-how and will benefit our young team."
