Hereford pair extend loan deals

Hereford United have extended the deals of two of their loan signings as they look to continue the climb away from the foot of League Two.

Leicester City's young striker Craig King will now remain at Edgar Street for the remainder of the season.

Swindon Town winger Mark Marshall has agreed to extend his initial deal and so will stay until 17 November.

Both players have been key figures in the Bulls' recent improved record of only one defeat in seven matches.

King made an immediate impression on the United management and fans with his work rate and has recorded one goal in five appearances during his initial month.

Mark Marshall has also received favourable reviews since arriving at Edgar Street and he says he more than happy to stay.

"I'm just happy to be getting games at the moment," Marshall told the Swindon club website.

"I'm hoping to get back to Swindon, but it's important that I don't turn down any opportunities to play regularly."

He added: "I just want to get as far as I can in football and whether that's at Swindon or Hereford, we'll just have to see."

The Bulls are yet to make any announcement on defender Danny Blanchett whose initial month's loan has also come to an end.
