Turner was pleased with his side's attacking play at Roots Hall
Hereford United manager Graham Turner thought there were plus points to take from his side's 1-0 defeat at Southend.
But he told BBC Hereford and Worcester that there were occasions when they had been too slack at the back.
"Our defending was not the best at times, but we were playing against some pretty good players," he said.
"But when we had the ball I thought we passed it well and created one or two good opportunities and it's a travesty that we didn't get on the scoreboard."
