Nationwide Conference leaders Hereford United insist there has been no change to Paul Parry's situation at Edgar Street.
Parry recently asked to have his name circulated to Nationwide League clubs.
Yeovil Town expressed an interest in the Bulls wideman, who has started 120 league games since coming through the club's youth-team ranks.
But it appears that Parry is no closer to leaving.
"There's nothing new for fans to worry about regarding Paul¿s situation," said manager Graham Turner.
"Reports can be very misleading and if we have anything we need to tell people we'll come out and say it as soon as we can.
"At the moment Paul's playing well for us and hopefully that will remain the case.
He's got three goals in three games since people started linking him with other clubs and that shows it isn't affecting his football.
"As we said in our statement, he has always done his best for the club and he will continue to do so in the future too," Turner told his club's website.
