Hereford eye defender
Hereford United are giving a trial to former Torquay United defender Troy Douglin.

Douglin has just been released from Plainmoor after being told his contract would not be renewed at the end of the season.

And Bulls boss Graham Turner will now give the 20-year-old a chance to make an impact with the Conference club.

Douglin, who spent a spell on loan with Celtic two seasons ago, started 15 league and cup games for Torquay after coming through the youth-team ranks.

But he has not figured for Leroy Rosenior¿s side since the end of November.
