Mrowiec (left) played in Kaunas' midweek defeat by Aalborg
Hearts have announced the signing of Polish midfielder Adrian Mrowiec from FBK Kaunas.
The 24-year-old played in Kaunas' 2-1 aggregate victory over Rangers in the Uefa Champions League qualifiers.
Manager Csaba Laszlo told the club website: "This is a player that we wanted to sign and I am happy he is coming to Hearts.
"We needed to strengthen the central midfield defensive position and I think Adrian will help us."
The terms of the deal have not yet been announced.
The Tynecastle club expect Mrowiec to arrive in Scotland within the next 24 hours, having played in the Lithuanian side's Champions League qualifying loss to Aalborg on Wednesday evening.
