Burger joins Hearts coaching crew

Heart of Midlothian

German coach Werner Burger has joined Hearts to act as assistant manager under Csaba Laszlo.

The 50-year-old has worked with Swiss sides Red Star Zurich, Schaffhausen and Kreuzlingen and studied for his qualifications with Laszlo in Cologne.

"Csaba is very close to the team. I will be more in the background and I'm sure we will work well together," he told the club website.

"A long time ago Csaba and I decided to work together, now we have the chance."
