Brown angered by Romanov claims
Former Scotland manager Craig Brown
Craig Brown says Scotland's referees are not dishonest
Former national manager Craig Brown has blasted Vladimir Romanov's following his latest attack on referees and the media in Scotland.

Speaking on BBC Five Live, Brown insisted the Hearts majority shareholder's latest comments are not doing his credibility any favours.

"He is not doing Scottish football any good with these remarks," he said. "We are all very, very angry."

"We all take exception to these uninitiated observations he is making."

Romanov's latest statement, which was released on the official Hearts website, he again likens the media to monkeys.

And, although he has since denied alleging corruption in Scotland, he again makes a veiled attack on the nation's referees.

"What he is saying is totally unbelievable," added Brown.

"To suggest there is a lack of integrity in referees is wrong.

"They make mistakes, but there is no dishonesty."
