Hearts have finally paid Belgian club Racing Genk the outstanding balance for the transfer of Mirsad Beslija - almost a year after signing the Bosnian.
Bosnia-Herzegovina international Beslija is Hearts' record signing
The Edinburgh club agreed to pay a club record £850,000 fee for the 27-year-old international winger in January.
Racing Genk then involved Fifa after Hearts failed to pay a reported £680,000 at the end of last season.
Genk spokesman Eric Gerets said: "Hearts have now paid the money owed. We are happy and Fifa are happy."
Beslija has struggled to hold down a first team place at Tynecastle since his arrival, and has featured in just eight games so far this season.
His last outing for the club came in the 2-0 home defeat to Kilmarnock on 21 October.
At international level, he played in Bosnia-Herzegovina's double-header against Malta and Hungary in September.
