Hearts manager George Burley was delighted with his side after watching them battle back from a man down and 2-0 down to snatch a draw at Falkirk.
"I couldn't have asked for any more from the players," said Burley. "We showed great energy levels right up to the last minute.
"We displayed great team spirit and big Elvis (skipper Steven Pressley) led by example with the two goals.
"We worked hard to close Falkirk down and deserved something from the game."
Burley insists the club will not be appealing against the 25th-minute dismissal of goalkeeper Craig Gordon, who will now miss the trip to Celtic on 15 October.
The Scotland international brought down Darryl Duffy inside the area to concede a penalty from which the scoring was opened.
Burley added: "We have no complaints about the sending off. That is what happens when the keeper is the last man."
