Levein quiet on Blackburn
Hearts head coach Craig Levein
Craig Levein has been in charge of Hearts since 2000
Hearts head coach Craig Levein has refused to comment following speculation linking him with the vacant manager's job at Blackburn Rovers.

BBC Sport believes that Levein's name has been discussed in the Blackburn boardroom and could feature in a shortlist still to be drawn up.

Levein has established Hearts as the third force in Scotland behind the Old Firm despite crippling debts.

And he refused to answer questions about a possible move to Blackburn.

"There are enough things happening around the football club just now without adding to it and I am just concentrating on today's game," said Levein before his side faced Rangers.

I haven't heard anything about Blackburn
Hearts chairman George Foulkes
"I am not actively seeking to do anything else," he said.

"I will do my job here as long as I can to the best of my ability.

"I enjoy working here, I like the people I work with and the players I've got.

"I have an affiliation going back to 1983."

Hearts chairman George Foulkes added: "I haven't heard anything about Blackburn, but Craig Levein is a brilliant manager.

"He is great at motivating players and finding new players.

"We don't want to lose him, but I believe, from what I read in the papers at least, that Blackburn are more interested in Mark Hughes at the moment."
