Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson has signed Dunfermline right-back Jamie McCunnie.
Dunfermline thought Jamie McCunnie would re-sign
McCunnie, 24, had reached the end of his current contract at East End Park and ends a two-year stay with the Pars.
The former Scotland under-21 captain, who can also play in midfield, had previous spells with Ross County and Dundee United.
"We've targeted Jamie for a period of time and hopefully he will be a good signing for us," director of sport Chris Turner told Hartlepool's website.
Dunfermline manager Stephen Kenny had announced earlier this week that he expected McCunnie to re-sign despite the club's relegation from the Scottish Prmier League.
