Beuzelin has signed a short-term deal with Accies until January

Hamilton Accies have signed former Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin on a short-term deal until January.

The 30-year-old Frenchman, who was a free agent after leaving Coventry City in the summer, could make his debut against St Johnstone on Saturday.

Hamilton manager Billy Reid told BBC Scotland that Beuzelin would be a great addition to his squad.

"Guillaume will bring a bit of quality to the team. He's a fantastic player," the Hamilton boss added.

Beuzelin, who left Coventry City in the summer, had been training with Tony Mowbray's Celtic recently.

Mowbray brought the midfielder to Scottish football, while manager at Hibs, when he signed him from French side Le Havre in July 2004.

Beuzelin made 117 appearances in his four seasons at Easter Road, netting 10 goals.

He then spent a spell at English Championship outfit Coventry City.
