Halifax Town boss Chris Wilder fears Leeds defender Henry McStay's loan at the Shay may have been ended by injury.
McStay, 19, has returned to Elland Road for treatment on a damaged knee.
Wilder said: "It is not looking good. We have to wait until the injury settles down, but the feeling is that he might have nicked his cartilage.
"If that's the case then it's unlikely he'll play for us again on loan. It is really disappointing for him," Wilder told the Halifax Evening Courier.
