Shaymen snap up Howell
Halifax Town have made their fifth signing of the summer by snapping up Dean Howell from Morecambe.

The 23-year-old left-sided player was allowed to leave Christie Park after being told he would not figure in Jim Harvey's plans for next season.

Howell joined Morecambe from Southport last summer and started 24 Conference games for the Shrimps.

The Shaymen have also given one-month contracts to midfielder Michael Senior and goalkeeper Craig Parry.
