Harsley to exit Shay
Paul Harsley looks set to lead a summer exodus from relegated Halifax Town.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been Town's outstanding player in a troubled season at the Shay.

And following Halifax's relegation to the Nationwide Conference, he has told the club he does not wish to drop out of the Nationwide League.

Town will therefore listen to offers for their leading goalscorer, who has missed just three League games since his arrival on a free transfer from Scunthorpe United last summer.

"Paul Harsley has stated that he feels he does not want to play in the Conference.

"Therefore, to be respectful of his request we will listen to any offer accordingly," chairman Bob Walker told the club┐s website.

Town's new manager, who is expected to be confirmed as current caretaker-boss Neil Redfearn, is primed to reshape the squad over the summer as the cash-strapped club gears up for Conference football.

Central defender Matt Clarke may also be on his way after playing for Blackpool's reserves last along with a clutch of other out-of-contract players.
