No offers for Harlsey
Cash-strapped League basement club Halifax Town have not received any approaches for their midfielder Paul Harsley.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a number of First Division clubs after an impressive season in a struggling Halifax side.

Harsley arrived at the Shay on a free transfer from Scunthorpe last summer and is Town's leading scorer this season, missing just one League game.

However Shaymen chairman Bob Walker said transfer talk is currently no more than mere speculation.

"There have been no offers made for Paul Harsley at this time and only when an offer is made will I consider it," he told the club's official website.

Up for sale Town, recently sold defender Chris Clarke to Blackpool for 120,000 to help ease their vast financial problems.
