Grimsby Town have signed former Rotherham midfielder Michael Cummins on a one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
Cummins, 32, joined the Millers in May 2008 on a free transfer from Darlington and made 50 league appearances.
He began his career at Middlesbrough, where he made just two appearances before moving to Port Vale in 2000.
The Irishman made more than 250 appearances for Vale before joining Darlington in 2006.
