Grimsby look at Stourbridge star

Grimsby Town

League Two strugglers Grimsby Town are giving a trial to Stourbridge winger Sean Evans.

The former Manchester United trainee has been in fine form for the Zamaretto League outfit this season, scoring 12 goals in 15 games.

He also helped the Glassboys reach the first round of the FA Cup and played in the 1-0 defeat by Walsall.

Evans trained with the Mariners on Thursday and Friday and is expected to take part in a game next week.
