Grimsby Town have finally completed the signing of Walsall striker Martin Butler on a three-month loan with a view to a permanent deal.
Butler was recently transfer-listed by Saddlers boss Richard Money
Butler, 33, would be able to join the Mariners permanently in January when the transfer window reopens.
He had been transfer-listed by the Saddlers earlier this month.
Butler, whose Walsall contract had been due to expire next summer, rejected a switch to Peterborough before the last transfer window closed in August.
The former Reading and Rotherham man scored 13 goals, including one this season, in 53 appearances for Walsall since joining the Saddlers in May 2006.
