Wilkinson back in work
Former Grimsby reserve coach Paul Wilkinson is back in work after linking up again with former Mariners boss Lennie Lawrence at Cardiff.

Wilkinson has been out of work since leaving Blundell Park in May.

Grimsby-born Wilkinson will work alongside Lawrence and his Ninian Park number two Ian Butterworth.

"It's a great opportunity for me and I'm just looking forward to being back in football," Wilkinson told the Grimsby Telegraph.

Wilkinson was a hugely popular figure during his two spells as a player with Grimsby and was brought back to the club by Lawrence in 2000.

But he was released by the club at the end of last season when the club suffered relegation to the Second Division.
