Grimsby midfielder George Santos has played down speculation that he will sign a new contract with the club.
Santos returned to England last week in a bid to get himself back in shape, fuelling suggestions that he could be playing for the Mariners next season.
But the out-of-contract 32-year-old has told BBC Radio Humberside that he is no closer to sorting out his future.
The Frenchman is still pondering the offer of a new deal from the club but says he is leaving his affairs in the hands of his agent, who is currently on holiday.
Mariners boss Paul Groves has made clear his desire to keep Santos and has told him he can begin pre-season training with his squad if he has not found a new club by then.
