Grimsby take Beharall on trial
David Beharall
Beharall must impress Lennie Lawrence
Grimsby Town have brought in Newcastle United centre-half David Beharall on trial with a view to a loan, reports BBC Radio Humberside.

The 22-year-old has had limited chances at St James' Park and has made just six first-team appearances for Newcastle.

He is training with Grimsby as manager Lennie Lawrence tries to find a recognised centre-half.

Lawrence is struggling for a central defender for Saturday's league opener with Crewe Alexandra.
