Grays Athletic manager Julian Dicks has said he is happy to continue with the troubled club, as long as they want him to stay on.

Relegated Grays are without a permanent home and wait to learn which league they will play in next season.

Dicks told BBC Essex: "I've been here for six months and I'd like to be here for as long as possible."

Grays beat Forest Green in their final game at the New Recreation Ground home on Saturday.

Dicks said it was a vital win for the club as they enter an uncertain summer after a tumultuous season.

"The ground's closing, so it was important we went out on a high," he said.

"Obviously it hasn't been the best of seasons, but in the past three games we've got seven points.

"It's just a shame we couldn't do that maybe 10-15 games ago."

Dicks said he had already started to prepare for next season, which is likely to see the former FA Trophy winners playing in the Ryman Premier Division.

"Obviously players need to be told if they're being kept or not and we'll do that this week," he said.

"We're looking for new players as of now."
