Manager Mark Stimson was disappointed as Gillingham suffered their eighth away league defeat of the season, going down 1-0 at struggling Bournemouth.
"We were in control of the game in the first half, but didn't test their keeper enough," Stimson said.
"We huffed and puffed in the second half, but we needed to produce more.
"But we now need to show that we can bounce back from back-to-back defeats, as we have a big game on Friday against our local rivals Brighton."
