Ternent targets more new signings
Gillingham manager Stan Ternent is hoping to bring in some fresh faces before Thursday's transfer deadline.

The Gills are unbeaten in five matches and new signings Jonathan Douglas, Jay McEveley and Mike Flynn have played their part in the club's revival.

He told Medway Messenger: "I want to strengthen before the last seven games.

"As for Douglas and McEveley, if Mark Hughes would let them stay until the end of the season we'd be delighted. It depends on Blackburn's own situation."
