Gorman to join Gillingham
John Gorman
Gorman will hope to turn around Gillingham's fortunes
Former England assistant manager John Gorman has agreed to join the Gillingham coaching staff following the departure of Wayne Jones.

Gorman, who has also managed Swindon and Wycombe, will link up with the Priestfield side on Wednesday.

Jones was dismissed on Monday after a run of only one point from a possible 18 in the Championship.

However, Gills chairman Paul Scally has insisted that manager Andy Hessenthaler's job is safe.
