Gillingham chairman Paul Scally says the club may bring in a loan signing to cover their injury crisis.
Nyron Nosworthy, who normally operates as a defender, has had to play up front for two games because of the Gills' dilemma.
"We've been talking to two strikers, one about a three-month loan and another which could be for a period of a year," Scally told BBC Radio Kent.
"We are looking at the loan system but wouldn't be rushing into it at this stage of the season."
