Fulham have signed goalkeeper Tony Warner on a permanent basis, while Benfica defender Jose Fonte is set to join as well.
Warner, 31, initially signed from Cardiff on a six-month loan deal and has signed for an undisclosed fee.
Fonte, 22, is a central defender and is reportedly set to join the Cottagers on a six-month loan deal.
"Fonte is in London undergoing a medical with Fulham," said Benfica press officer Carlos Garcia.
"We have yet to finalise the deal with Fulham which will see the player join them for six months.
"The agreement should be concluded later on Thursday."
Fonte joined Benfica from Vitoria Setubal in December.
Warner arrived at Fulham in August after injuries to Mark Crossley and Jaroslav Drobny both had hamstring injuries.
He has made 15 appearances so far and signed a two-and-a-half-year deal which will keep him at the club
"Tony has been in impressive form for us and it was important to secure his services for the rest of this campaign and beyond," manager Chris Coleman told the club's website.
"He has been a great asset to the squad, so we are delighted to sign him permanently."
