Malbranque wins France call
Steed Malbranque
Malbranque gets his international chance
Fulham midfielder Steed Malbranque has been called into the France squad to face Holland on Wednesday.

Malbranque was drafted into the squad by coach Jacques Santini after Zinedine Zidane pulled out with a groin strain.

France have already lost Arsenal duo Robert Pires (Achilles) and Patrick Vieira (knee) through injury.

Malbranque has enjoyed an impressive season under Fulham boss Chris Coleman, helping the Cottagers consolidate a comfortable mid-table position.
