Steed Malbranque has added a further year to his existing Fulham contract, keeping him at the club until 2007.
Malbranque is delighted with life in west London
The French midfielder's good form has been instrumental to the club's fine start to the new Premiership season.
He told the club's website: "I feel good here and I am very happy. I think it was important to reassure the fans about the future by signing.
"There is a very good spirit within the team and the club. I think we will be able to bring some success here."
Fulham are so far defying the critics who predicted they would be relegation strugglers this term with a solid start under rookie manager Chris Coleman.
And Malbranque's commitment will be further cause for the supporters to believe that will continue.
