Knight pleads for support
Supporters of the west London club have stayed away from their temporary home at QPR's Loftus Road. Fulham are ground-sharing for two seasons while a three-year legal battle with local residents in Fulham over the redevelopment of Craven Cottage drags on. Fulham's Uefa Cup tie with Hajduk Split was played in front of a half-empty stadium as fans protest at what they see as the club using the legal row as an excuse to quit their traditional home. And Knight admitted the situation is having an effect on Jean Tigana's side. "One or two of the players do get a bit upset with the crowd situation," he said. "They're trying to do it for the fans - so it's disappointing when the fans don't turn up. "It's very frustrating to go out there and play in front of a half-empty ground. "The fans want us to get a new stadium - but they're not helping us by not turning up to games."
