Fulham swoop for teenager
Tigana has paid £100,000 for Matthew Collins
Fulham manager Jean Tigana has signed Swindon teenager Matthew Collins for a fee in excess of £100,000, reports BBC Wiltshire Sound.
Swindon Town say they made every effort to keep the 15-year-old at the County Ground. But they could not compete with the big-spending Cottagers. Collins, whose elder brother Chris is in Swindon's reserves, has won caps for Wales at youth and under-17 level. He has signed a deal keeping him at Fulham until 2006.
