Koller deal going flat for Fulham
Jan Koller
Koller favours a move to Germany's Bundesliga
Fulham are likely to miss out on signing Czech striker Jan Koller after he admitted he would prefer a move to Borussia Dortmund.

The German side have made a counter bid for the giant front-man which he rates as a "more interesting" proposition.

Koller, who is valued at 8m by his Belgian club Anderlecht, looked set to become one of Fulham's first new additions as they look to embark on a summer spending spree.

Dortmund will play in the Champions League next season and that makes them more interesting

Initially, the 6ft 7ins Koller reacted favourably to the Cottagers' interest and said he was ready to agree terms with the club.

But now he admits: "Although I always said I would be interested in coming to England I now have some doubts.

"It looks as though Dortmund will play in the Champions League next season and that makes them more interesting to me from a sporting point of view."

Dortmund's 4-1 win at Unterhaching on Saturday put them beyond the reach of Bayer Leverkusen, their only challengers for Germany's third Champions League place.
