Forest Green Rovers boss Gary Owers has signed three central defenders, who have all agreed one-year contracts.
Tony Butler is the most experienced of Rovers' three signings
The experienced Tony Butler, 33, joins after being released by Blackpool - where he has had two spells - in May.
Butler has made 468 league appearances in stints with Gillingham, Blackpool, Port Vale, West Brom and Bristol City.
Rovers have also signed Chris Giles, 24, on a free from crisis club Crawley, and Matthew McEntegart, 22, for an undisclosed fee from Chippenham Town.
Australian McEntegart had also been targeted by Conference South side Newport County.
With Crawley in administration, all of their players are seeking new clubs.
Giles was one of only five players to report for pre-season training, but his contract has now been cancelled to allow him to move to Forest Green.
