Young player prize for Falkirk's Ryan Flynn

Ryan Flynn
Flynn has scored three goals in his last four games

Falkirk's Ryan Flynn is the Clydesdale Bank Premier League young player of the month for March.

The 21-year-old midfielder scored twice last month as the bottom-placed Bairns picked up two points from five games in their battle to avoid relegation.

Flynn, who rejoined Falkirk at the beginning of the season after a spell at Liverpool, also scored the winner at Motherwell last weekend.

That takes his tally for the campaign to six goals from 33 starts.

Flynn, who is an injury doubt for Saturday's vital home clash with St Mirren, came through the youth ranks at Falkirk before signing for Liverpool for £50,000 in 2005.

He returned on loan in the summer and signed a three-year contract in September.
