Bairns make Flynn move permanent

Falkirk winger Ryan Flynn

Falkirk make Flynn transfer permanent

Falkirk have concluded the permanent transfer of Ryan Flynn from Liverpool.

The 21-year-old had come through the youth ranks at Falkirk before signing for Liverpool for £50,000 in 2005.

Winger Flynn returned to the Scottish Premier League club on loan in the summer but has now signed a three-year contract with the Bairns.

Head of football development Ross Wilson told Falkirk's website: "Ryan has done very well and has slotted in like he has never been away."

Wilson said that manager Eddie May had been hoping to sign Flynn on a permanent contract since the day he returned to Falkirk Stadium.

The capture of Flynn follows the news earlier this month that striker Carl Finnigan had taken up the option to extend his contract with the club until 2011.
