Exeter City confident of duo's return

Exeter City

Exeter City have announced that Troy Archibald-Henville and David Noble will both be fit in time for the start of pre-season training in July.

Defender Archibald-Henville injured his cartilage just days after signing on at St James Park in February.

Midfielder Noble joined the Grecians in January whilst carrying a knee injury, and is yet to make his debut.

"David was signed to start this year and he is on course to do that," boss Paul Tisdale told the club website.

"They are both in line to be fit for the start of pre-season.

"I don't think there is a club in the country, especially not at our level, that would have done that but I am optimistic about the input he can have in this team so I was prepared to do it."

Noble started his career at Arsenal before moving to Bristol City, where he scored nine goals in 72 games.

He then spent three months on loan at Yeovil last season, making just two appearances for the Glovers.
