Coppinger set for Doncaster
Exeter City have agreed outline terms with Doncaster for the transfer of midfielder James Coppinger.

The 24-year-old is out of contract at St James and Rovers boss Dave Penney is said to have made a six-figure bid for the midfielder.

Coppinger was also being chased by Yeovil Town, but the lure of Division Two football could prove too much.

Third Division champions Doncaster have been promised funds to strengthen their squad by the club's chairman.
