Exeter have announced the appointment of Steve Perryman as Director of Football and Eamonn Dolan as first-team manager.

Perryman will work unpaid for the Conference club for two days a week as well as on matchdays.

"I would not have taken this position if I was not convinced that, granted a little time and patience, we can give the people of Exeter a team to be proud of," said the former Spurs player, who has coached extensively in Japan.

Dolan has been associated with Exeter for the last 11 years.

He said: "I am aware as anyone of the problems the club is facing but have every faith in the ability of the new people at the helm to confront them face and take the clubs forward into an exciting new era."
