Jo has enjoyed much better fortune at Everton than at Manchester City
Everton manager David Moyes says there is no chance on-loan Manchester City striker Jo will join permanently.
The 22-year old failed to impress at City but has scored five goals since moving to Goodison Park in February.
"It's not worth discussing as he cost a lot of money - we don't have that sort of money, that's for sure," said Moyes.
"If somebody said I'd take a striker on loan and he'd score five goals, I'd have said 'That will do me'. You have to give him a lot of credit."
After moving to Eastlands from CSKA Moscow last summer for an undisclosed fee which could rise to £18m, Jo scored just three goals in 18 appearances for City.
But with Everton's forward line devastated by injuries, Moyes took a gamble on the Brazilian, and it has paid off, although all his goals have been at home.
"Away from home we still have to see him do more," said Moyes.
"That has been a bit of a concern, but his goals at home have been invaluable.
"He has a really good record, and let's hope he keeps it up. If he does then he will have proven a really good signing, which isn't easy to get in January."
