Louis Saha's headed goal gave Everton their first home win of the season
Striker Louis Saha believes he is beginning to show Everton signs of the form he is capable of.
The 30-year-old French international scored his first goal for Everton in their 1-0 win against Fulham at Goodison Park on Saturday.
"I'm doing a bit better, it's a bit slower then I expected but I'm still happy," Saha told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"Things are going in the right direction and that is the main thing for me."
After signing for David Moyes' men on transfer deadline day in August in a two-year pay-as-you-play deal, Saha endured a spell on the sidelines with a calf problem.
It is a big boost for me and the team, my main concern is the team and the three points so it is a relief

His return to fitness in recent weeks has seen him feature in Everton's last five Premier League games, culminating with him scoring the winner against Fulham.
Saha was delighted his first Everton goal contributed to the Blues winning at home for the first time this season.
"It is a big boost for me and the team, my main concern is the team and the three points so it is a relief," said Saha.
Saha, who previously played for Fulham and Newcastle, believes he made the right choice in moving to Everton from Old Trafford.
"I'm confident that I picked the right club," he added. "I have players around me who can help me score goals and enjoy my football again."
