MOYES' VIEW
|
Everton manager David Moyes revealed the excitement in the Toffees camp after the 3-2 win at Norwich.
"We've changed it around and the players have been outstanding.
"It's a manager's job to raise expectations. After everything that happened in the summer we are having a bit of a laugh," said Moyes.
"We are singing in bath and why not? No-one is expecting us to be there. We are in a great position and hopefully we can keep it going."
But Moyes felt his team were lucky at times against the Canaries.
"I did not feel comfortable in the first half and in the second half we
didn't control the game as well as we have in the past.
"It was good to go in 2-0 ahead at half-time. I was happy at that. But they
came at us - they are desperate for a win.
"Norwich caused us problems and got right back into it. I would have taken a
point then. They were the better team.
"Norwich were over-running us but up popped big Duncan Ferguson," added Moyes.
