Nyarko joins PSG
Everton midfielder Alex Nyarko is asked to swap shirts by an unhappy fan
Nyarko's unhappy spell at Goodison ended at Highbury
Paris St Germain have signed Everton's Alex Nyarko on loan with a view to a permanent move.

The Ghanaian midfielder has moved for an undisclosed fee to PSG, who have the option of signing him permanently for £3m in January.

The deal looked set to fall through 48 hours ago after Everton indicated he would not be allowed another loan spell away from Goodison Park.

Last season Nyarko played on loan at Monaco, but Everton were worried that his value would decrease if a permanent transfer was not negotiated.

The former Lens midfielder signed for Everton in July 2001 for £4.5m.

But he vowed never to play for Everton again after a confrontation with an angry supporter on the pitch at Arsenal in April 2001.

After that game he said he wanted to retire from the professional game, though he later changed his mind.

He had been expected to join Monaco, but financial problems scuppered that deal.
