McCunnie makes move to East Fife

East Fife have completed the process of signing former Dundee United full-back Jamie McCunnie.

The 26-year-old has been without a club since his Hartlepool United contract expired at the end of last season.

Having made his United debut at 17, McCunnie went on to be a regular for Scotland at Under-21 level.

He left Tannadice in 2003 and had spells with Ross County and Dunfermline before making the switch to the Monkey Hangers in 2007.

McCunnie, capped once for Scotland at B level, was a team-mate of East Fife manager Stevie Crawford during their time at Dunfermline.
