McManus scored five goals in two games during September
Paul McManus has completed a September double for East Fife after being named player of the month in the Scottish Football League by sponsors Irn Bru.
Manager Dave Baikie was chosen as manager of the month in Division Two.
The 25-year-old McManus broke his scoring duck for the season with a hat-trick against Alloa Athletic and a double against Ayr United.
Those two 3-0 victories following a 1-1 draw away to McManus' former club Raith Rovers as the Fifers' form improved.
After a poor start to the season, the Division Three champions and many people's pre-season title favourites lifted themselves back into the promotion chase with those two fine victories.
However, they lost their first match of October, 2-1 at home to Stranraer, and sit in fifth place, seven points adrift of leaders Brechin City.
